Hoosier Hysteria Set For 4 PM Saturday October 2nd

Indiana Basketball Fans will get there first chance to see the Indiana Women’s and Men’s Basketball Teams Saturday October 2nd at 4 pm in Simon Skjdot Assembly Hall for Hoosier Hysteria. Doors will open at 2:30 PM and its free admission with open seating but fans are asked to bring one canned food item to donate to the Hoosier Hills Food Bank. The Event is expected to last 90 minutes and the event will be completed before Kickoff of the IU-Penn State Football game which will be at 7:30 PM that evening in State College PA on ABC. This will be the first time in 18 months that fans will be in attendance since the COVID-19 Pandemic began in March of 2020 and be required to wear a face covering for the event.

Indiana-Penn State Football Game Set for ABC Primetime October 2nd

The Big Ten Conference has announced the Indiana at Penn State Football Game Time has been set for 7:30 PM Saturday October 2nd and will be on ABC. This will be the Big Ten East Division opener for both teams. Indiana is 1-2 and 0-1 in the Big Ten and will travel to Western Kentucky this Saturday Night 8 PM on CBS Sports Network. Penn State who is ranked 6th and 8th in the polls is 3-0 and 1-0 in the Big Ten will host Villanova this Saturday at noon on the Big Ten Network. This will be the 25th meeting between the two teams. Indiana won a thrilling 36-35 double overtime game in Memorial Stadium to open the 2020 season.

Bloomington South 3rd Bloomington North 10th In Class 5A Football Poll

Bloomington South stayed at 3rd and Bloomington North is 10th in the latest Associated Class 5A Poll. The Panthers are 5-0 and host Southport this Friday night. South is behind Cathedral and Valparaiso. Decatur Central is 4th followed by Mishawaka, Zionsville, Fort Wayne Snider, West Lafayette Harrison and Fort Wayne Dwenger. Bloomington North gets into the top 10 after not being ranked last week as the 4-1 Cougars travel to New Albany this Friday Night. Owen Valley who is 5-0 is ranked 10th in the Class 3A Poll.

Columbus East Wins Bloomington North Girls Golf Sectional

Columbus East won the Bloomington North Girls Golf Sectional at Cascades Golf Course on the Northside of Bloomington Monday. The Olympians won with a score of 344 followed by Columbus North with a 352 and Martinsville with a 378 as all three teams will move on to the Regional.  Bloomington South was 4th with a score of 378. Bloomington North was fifth with a score of 391 and Edgewood was 8th with a score of 413 will not advance as a team. Melanie Southern of Bloomington South shot 78 and Darian Lafferty of Bloomington North shot an 82 and will both advance to Regional as Individuals. Gwen Anderson of Columbus North won the individual title with a 74. The Regional is this Saturday at 8:30 AM at Country Oaks Golf Club in Washington.
