Baltimore Ravens Complete Comeback on Indianapolis Colts
The Baltimore Ravens came back from 25-9 deficit with 12 minutes left in regulation to beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-25 in overtime on Monday Night Football. Lamar Jackson threw 2 touchdown passes in the 4th quarter to Mark Andrews and the pair connected on 2 two-point conversions to send the game to overtime after Rodrigo Blankenship missed field goal. The Ravens scored 5:24 left to go in overtime when Jackson connected with Marquise Brown on 5-yard touchdown pass.  Lamar Jackson was 37-43 passing for 437 yards, 4 touchdowns and no interceptions and ran for 62 yards. The Ravens were held to 86 yards which ended the 43-game streak of 100 yards or more rushing. The record tied the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 1970’s. Carson Wentz was 25-35 passing 390 yards and 2 touchdowns. Johnathan Taylor rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Taylor caught 3 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. The Colts are 1-4 and Ravens are 4-1. The Colts are home this Sunday when they host the Houston Texans at 1 PM.

Kyle Schwarber and Boston Red Sox Advance to American League Championship Series
Former Indiana University Baseball Player Kyle Schwarber and the Boston Red Sox are advancing to the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros. The Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays 6-5 on Tuesday night at Fenway Park in Boston to win series 3-1. Schwarber was 0-3 with a walk and scored a run. In the Postseason Schwarber is batting .316, 6-19 at the plate, 6 runs, 2 RBI’s, 2 Home Runs and 3 Walks. Schwarber has been playing first base for the Red Sox. He was an outfielder with the Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals.

Indiana Men’s Golf Wins Purdue Fall Invitational
Indiana Men’s Golf won the Purdue Fall Invitational finishing with 858 total score which was good enough for 6 under par. Indiana finished 1 stroke ahead of Purdue. It’s the first time that the Hoosiers have won a stroke play tournament since winning the NYX Hoosier Invitational on April 13th, 2014. Mitch Davis finished tied for 3rd with Bloomington South Grad Joe Weiler of Purdue. The pair finished with a score of 213 which was 8 strokes behind Weiler’s teammate Herman Wibe Sekene who scored a 205. IU will be in action October 17th at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational in Vero Beach Florida.   

Indiana Women’s Golf Finishes 15th at Illini Invitational
Indiana Women’s Golf Finished 15th at the Illini Invitational in Mendiah Illinois. This was the final fall tournament for the Lady Hoosiers. The Hoosiers finished 15th out of the 15-team field with a score of 890 which was 26 over par. Georgia and Louisville tied for 1st with a score of 849 which was 15 under par. Freshman Áine Donegan continued her incredible freshman season and tied for sixth to pace the Hoosier attack. She played at or under par in six of 11 rounds this season. The Hoosiers head into the offseason and will not compete as a team until the beginning of the 2022 spring schedule. IU will next compete in the Big Ten Match Play event held at the Island Course in Innisbrook, Fla., on January 31st.
