Catalent launches new corporate operating structures
Catalent, Inc. has recently implemented changes to its operating structure and executive leadership team that went into effect July 1st. This new organizational structure includes a shift from four reporting segments to two, each representing roughly half of the total company revenue. The moves are projected to allow the New Jersey based company to be more agile in meeting and anticipating customer needs and expectations, and create commercial synergies for customers, providing customers with more integrated solutions, streamlined service, and simplified delivery of solutions.

Locally, Catalent has committed to an investment of $350 million in their Bloomington facility and creating 1,000 new jobs. Their Bloomington facility expansion is intended to develop greater biologics drug substance and drug product manufacturing efficiency.
