10th Ranked Indiana Beats Iowa 
The 10th Ranked Indiana Women’s Basketball Team Beat Iowa 89-80 in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall Wednesday Afternoon. Its the first time the Hoosiers have swept the Hawkeyes since 1994. The Hoosiers have on 8 straight and are 15-2 in the Big Ten Conference. The 15 Wins ties the School Record from the 1982-83 Season. The Hoosiers had four players in double figures with 22 points a piece from Ali Patberg, Grace Berger and Mackenzie Holmes who also pulled down 11 rebound for her 7th Career Double-Double. Nicole Cardano-Hillary added 13 as Hoosiers outscored the Hawkeyes 51-37 in the 2nd half. Freshman Caitlin Clark scored 32 points for Iowa and Fouled out late in the fourth quarter. Clark came into the game averaging 26.9 Points a game and she went over 30 point mark for the 10th time this season. Indiana is is 17-4 overall and closes out the regular season when they host archrival Purdue Saturday Afternoon at 1 PM on Big Ten Network Plus. 

Indiana Track and Field Earns Invites to NCAA Indoor Championships 
Five Individuals and one relay will compete in the NCAA Track Field Indoor Championships in Fayetteville Arkansas March 11-13th. On the Women’s Side Maddy Pollard will compete in the shot put after winning a bronze at the Big Ten Championships. On the Men’s Side Rikkoi Brathwaite will compete in the 60 meter and won the Big Ten Championship. Nathan Stone will compete in the Pole Vault after winning the Big Ten Championship. Ben Veatch will compete in the 5,000 Meters in which he won the Big Ten Championship. Cooper Williams will compete in the 800 Meters. The Men’s Distance Relay team of Teddy Browning, Cooper Williams, Shaton Vaughn and Matthew Schadler has been invited. 

Trio of Indiana Players Invited To NFL Combine 
Indiana Football Players Jamar Johnson, Stevie Scott and Whop Philyor have been invited to the 2021 NFL Scouting Combine. Indiana’s Pro Day will take place April 2nd at Memorial Stadium. The Combine which normally takes place in Indianapolis each year will be different due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The combine will not be in this year but it will still offer the same opportunities to interact with NFL Team Personnel. The NFL Draft will be held in Cleveland Ohio Thursday April 29th through Saturday May 1st. 

Indianapolis Indians Season Delayed Until May 4th 
The 2021 Indianapolis Indians will have to wait a little longer to get on the Baseball Field. The Commissioner of Major League Baseball has delayed the start of the 2021 season 4 weeks due to health and safety concerns. The Indians are a Triple A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Indians will now open the season May 4th at the Iowa Cubs and will have the home opener May 11th against the Toledo Mudhens at Victory Field.
