Indiana Men’s Basketball Names Yasir Rosemond Assistant Coach

New Indiana Men’s Basketball Coach Mike Woodson has filled out his staff with the addition of Yasir Rosemond as Assistant Coach. Rosemond was on the staff at Alabama in 2019. Rosemond has been assistant coach for 15 years at Alabama, Georgia and Oregon. The coaching staff has been filled out with Dane Fife and Kenya Hunter as assistant coaches. Woodson announced that Benny Sander has been promoted to director of basketball operations, Brian Walsh will be the new team and recruitment coordinator and Mike Roberts will be the assistant Athletic Director for Basketball Administration. Roberts has been an assistant coach the last two season under former coach Archie Miller. Director of Athletic Performance Cliff Marshall will remain on staff.  

Grace Berger to Attend AmeriCup Trials

Indiana Women’s Basketball Senior to Be Grace Berger has been invited to participate in the AmeriCup Trials April 18-21st at the University Of South Carolina. Berger will be one of 20 athletes competing for a roster spot on the AmeriCup Roster which will consist of 10 nations from North, South, Central Americas and the Caribbean will take part in the 2021 AmeriCup June 11-19 in Puerto Rico. The Top Four finishing teams will advance to compete in one of four FIBA 2022 Qualifying Tournaments in hopes of earning one of the 12 spots for the 2022 FIBA World Cup in Australia.

Deah McCullough Commits to Indiana Football for 2023

Indiana Football has its 2nd verbal Commit for 2023 and they did not have to leave town to get It. Bloomington South Safety Deah McCullough. He is 6-2 195-pound safety who is the son of Indiana Running Backs and Associate Head Coach Deland McCullough. McCullough played is first two years of high school at Blue Valley North HS in Kansas before his Dad came back to Bloomington to join coach Tom Allen’s Staff and will join Bloomington South HS this fall. The Older McCullough was on Kevin Wilson’s Staff before he went to USC and the Kansas City Chiefs. He Joins Linebacker Denzel Moore from Georgia in the 2023 Class.

Indiana Men’s Soccer Beats Maryland 2-0 in Big Ten Semifinals

The Indiana Men’s Soccer Team beat Maryland 2-0 in the Big Ten Semifinals at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium Wednesday Night in Bloomington. Victor Bezerra scored both Hoosier Goals at the 46:20 and 55:58 Marks. IU is 9-1 while Maryland ends the year at 4-4-2. Indiana will play Penn State on Saturday at 5 pm on the Big Ten Network for the Championship here at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington.
