Indiana Men’s Soccer Plays Seton Hall with College Cup Appearance on the Line

Indiana Men’s Soccer will play Seton Hall tonight at 5 pm the NCAA Men’s Soccer Quarterfinals in Cary North Carolina. The Hoosiers are 10-1-2 and the Pirates are 10-1-4. Indiana is looking for its NCAA Record 21st trip to the College Cup and have won 8 National Titles. This will be the 3rd meeting between to the two programs. IU has won both meetings October 3rd 1987 3-2 in overtime and November 27th 1988 3-1 in the NCAA Quarterfinals. The Hoosiers went on to win the National Championship that season in Bloomington. Indiana Softball Sweeps Penn State

Indiana Softball swept Penn State in Bloomington in a pair of doubleheaders Friday and Saturday. The Hoosiers had a pair of walk offs winning game 1 2-1 and Gabbi Jenkins walk off homer in game 2 gave the Hoosiers the 8-7 victory. IU took Game 1 Saturday 4-1 and Game 2 17-0. Indiana is 23-17 overall and travel to Maryland for the 4-game regular season finale this Friday through Sunday.

Indiana Baseball Takes 3 out of 4 In New Jersey

Indiana Baseball beat Rutgers twice and split in Nebraska in New Jersey Friday through Sunday. The Hoosiers beat the Scarlet Knights 8-3 on Friday and then 6-5 in 11 innings Saturday. IU lost to Nebraska on Saturday 7-6 before beating the Cornhuskers on Sunday 4-2. Indiana is 23-10 and will travel to Michigan for a three-game series this Friday through Sunday.

Indiana Fever Beat Chicago Sky in Preseason Game

The Indiana Fever beat the Chicago Sky 82-65 in a WNBA Preseason game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Sunday Afternoon. This was the first Indiana Fever Game in the Fieldhouse since September 8th, 2019. Kelsey Mitchell scored 14 points, Teairia McCowan added 12 points and 12 rebounds, Victoria Vivians scored 12 points in her return to fieldhouse for the first time since the 2018 season. Tiffany Mitchell added 16 along with rookie Chesley Perry out of Tennessee-Martin who added 16 points. Kahleah Cooper scored 14 before she left the game with a knee injury in the fourth quarter and Stefanie Dolson added 10 for Chicago. These two teams will meet in Chicago for the 2nd and final preseason game Tuesday Afternoon at 4:30 PM Eastern Time.
