He is the first Hoosier to earn the honor since Thomas Bryant prior to the 2016-17 season. Jackson-Davis enters his fourth season with the Hoosiers ranked 15th all-time at IU in scoring (1,565), 19th in scoring average (16.9), ninth in rebounds (797), seventh in blocked shots (178), and seventh in field goal percentage (55.8%). He was named a third-team All-American as a sophomore, has earned All-District honors each of the last two seasons, and has been a third team, first-team, and second-team All-Big ten choice in his first three campaigns with the Hoosiers. He will be the third leading returning scorer in college basketball next season, behind Antoine Davis from Detroit and Max Abmas from Oral Roberts.<br>\u00a0<br>The Center Grove product ranked among the Big Ten leaders in points per game (18.3; 6th in the Big Ten), rebounds per game (8.1; 6th), field goal percentage (58.9%; 4th), free throws made (147; 5th), free throws attempted (218; 2nd) and total blocked shots (81, t-1st) in 35 starts for the Hoosiers in his third season on campus. Jackson-Davis anchored a Hoosier defense that was ranked as the most efficient in the league by Ken Pom (24th in the nation) and held opponents to a league-low 39.6% shooting from the floor.\u00a0Jackson-Davis has recorded 32 double-doubles and two 30-point\/10-rebound performances in his career.<br>\u00a0<br>During the 2022 Big Ten Men&#8217;s Basketball Tournament, he averaged 25.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per contest on 34-of-51 shooting (66.7%) from the floor. Jackson-Davis broke five program records during the tournament run, including: single game points (31), single game made field goals (15), total points (76), total made shots (34), and total rebounds (25).\u00a0 He was named All-Tournament for his efforts.\u00a0The Hoosiers finished 21-14 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016, defeating Wyoming before falling to Saint Mary&#8217;s. The Hoosiers advanced to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals for the first time since 2013 after knocking off Michigan and top-seeded Illinois. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those on the five-member All-American team include Jackson-Davis, Armando Bacot (North Carolina), Marcus Sasser (Houston) Drew Timme (Gonzaga), and Oscar Tshiebwe (Kentucky). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Indiana University Men&#8217;s Soccer trio named to Big Ten Conference watch list <\/strong><br>A veteran Indiana University men&#8217;s soccer trio was highlighted by the Big Ten Conference Monday as senior forward Herbert Endeley, redshirt Senior Defender Daniel Munie\u00a0and redshirt Senior Forward\u00a0Ryan Wittenbrink were named Big Ten Players to Watch. The announcement came as part of the Big Ten&#8217;s preseason poll, in which the Hoosiers are ranked No. 2. The Hoosiers are the top-ranked Big Ten program in each of the three national preseason polls, coming in as high as No. 8 by Top Drawer Soccer.<br>\u00a0<br>Endeley was one of IU&#8217;s top playmakers last season, tallying two goals and a team-best six assists. For his work, Endeley was selected second-team All-Big Ten for a second straight season. Munie earned his first All-America accolades in 2021 after being named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. As a redshirt junior, Munie led the Hoosier defense to 13 clean sheets, including a span of seven straight in October which stands as the second-longest single-season streak in program history. Munie will wear the captain&#8217;s armband this season from his center back position. Wittenbrink contributed all 2021 long, totaling eight goals and seven assists between the adjusted 2020-21 season and the 2021 fall campaign. In 20 matches, Wittenbrink tallied three goals and five assists last season and assisted goals in three of IU&#8217;s last four matches, including both NCAA Tournament matches.<br>\u00a0<br>Endeley, Munie, Wittenbrink and the Hoosiers kick off the 2022 season Friday, August 26, with a marquee matchup at reigning national champion and No. 1-ranked Clemson. The contest will be televised on ESPNU with a 7pm start time. The 2022 season will be the 50th varsity season for Indiana men&#8217;s soccer and a celebration of the program&#8217;s Tradition of Excellence. IU men&#8217;s soccer is an eight-time NCAA Champion, 17-time Big Ten regular season champion, 15-time Big Ten Tournament Champion and has made 46 appearances in the NCAA Tournament, including an active streak of 35 consecutive berths. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Indiana University Women&#8217;s Golf announces 2022-23 schedule <\/strong><br>First-year head women&#8217;s golf coach Brian May\u00a0announced the Indiana 2022-23 schedule on Friday morning. The slate includes nine regular season tournaments, including four in the fall portion and five in the spring. The season will begin with a pair of tournaments in September. IU kicks off the year at the Badger Invitational (Sept. 18-20) at the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison before finishing the month at the Evie Odom Invitational (Sept. 30-Oct. 2) hosted by Old Dominion at the Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach. <br>The fall season will conclude with back-to-back events at The Ally Invitational (Oct. 17-18) hosted by Mississippi State at the Old Waverly Golf Club in Starkville, Mississippi and the Olde Stone Intercollegiate (Oct. 24-25) at the Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, Kentucky.<br><br>Indiana will pick back up in the spring with the FAU Paradise Invitational (Feb. 6-7) at the Osprey Point in Naples, Fla. before heading to Lake Oconee, Ga. for the Mercer Spring Invitational (Feb. 17-19). The Hoosiers then travel west to Mesa, Ariz. for the Clover Cup (March 3-12) hosted by Notre Dame at the Longbrow Golf Club. April begins with a return trip to the Council Fire Golf Course or the Chattanooga Classic (April 2-4) before the Lady Buckeye Invitational from April 15-16 at the OSU Scarlet Course in Columbus. <br>Postseason play will begin with the Big Ten Championships at the Fox Chapel Golf Course in Pittsburgh from April 21-23. The weekend of events begins on Oct. 14 with an open training session for all alumni to watch the current Hoosiers up close. Afterwards, the alumni are encouraged to stick around for the men&#8217;s soccer match against reigning Big Ten champion Penn State at 7:30pm. The women&#8217;s soccer program will provide a tailgate tent, as well as complimentary tickets to the match.<br>\u00a0<br>On Oct. 15, the Hoosier host the Maryland Terrapins at Memorial Stadium. There will be an alumni tailgate beginning two hours prior to the to-be-determined kickoff in the I Association Tent, located in front of the Mellencamp Center. Each player receives two football game tickets.  The festivities will continue on Oct. 16 with a brunch in the new Tardy Suite at Armstrong Stadium starting at noon ET.
