Stinesville Reserve Officer arrested in Indianapoli<\/strong>s
A 36 year-old Stinesville Reserve Office has been arrested for drunk driving and leaving the scene of a crash early Sunday morning. The crash happened after 1am at the intersection of West Southport Road and State Road 37 on the southside of Indianapolis. The suspect is accused of having a blood alcohol level of .15 or more, as well as DUI endangering a person and leaving the scene of a vehicle accident with property damage. The suspect\u2019s name has not been released because formal charges have not been issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023 Indiana Missing Children’s Day Poster Contest<\/strong>
The Indiana State Police is proud to partner again in 2023 with the U.S. Department of Justice in promoting the National Missing Children\u2019s Day Poster Contest.\u00a0 In 1983, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed May 25th<\/sup>\u00a0as National Missing Children\u2019s Day.\u00a0 This day is dedicated to encouraging parents, guardians, caregivers and all concerned individuals with the well-being of children to make child safety a priority.\u00a0 It serves as a reminder to continue our efforts to reunite missing children with their families and loved ones.\u00a0 It also serves as an occasion to honor those who are dedicated to this very noble cause.\u00a0 The National Missing Children\u2019s Poster Contest provides an opportunity for schools, law enforcement, and parents\/guardians to discuss and promote child safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state winner will receive a national award certificate from the U.S. Department of Justice and their poster will be selected to go to the national judging competition.\u00a0 The national winner, along with his\/her parents and teacher, and the state manager will be invited to Washington, D.C. to participate in the U.S. Department of Justice\u2019s National Missing Children\u2019s Day ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
