IU Soul Revue Spring Concert<\/strong>
The famous IU Soul Revue performs LIVE for its Annual Spring Concert!

Since 1971, the IU Soul Revue is famous for dynamic performances of R&B, soul, funk, and contemporary Black popular music delivered by its commanding vocalists, powerful horn line, and tight rhythm section. Students in the IU Soul Revue learn from the best in the business\u2014from Bootsy Collins to Kenneth \u2018Babyface\u2019 Edmonds\u2014and perform at venues around the country. Alumni of the Soul Revue are award-winning recording artists, world-class musicians, accomplished producers and directors, and much more. IU Soul Revue is a course offered for academic credit through the Department of African American and African Diaspora Studies instructed by James Strong and a unit of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs at Indiana University. Indiana DNR Officer saves life
<\/strong>An off-duty Indiana Conservation Officer was in the right place at the right time April 26 and helped save a Highland man\u2019s life.\u00a0\u00a0Shortly after 4:30 p.m., Indiana Conservation Officer Alex Neel was near the intersection of Ridge Road and Indianapolis Boulevard when he saw several people starting to perform CPR on a male who had been removed from a vehicle. Neel stopped to help and recognized that the person attempting CPR was struggling. After confirming that the Highland man, who was 66, was not breathing and did not have a pulse, Neel took over and performed chest compressions for several minutes with the help of an unidentified nurse who also stopped to help. \u00a0Within minutes, officers with Highland Police Department arrived and helped Neel until medics with Superior Ambulance arrived. An AED was then used, and a pulse was located. The individual was transported to Community Hospital where he is reported to be doing well.\u00a0Neel is a four-year veteran of DNR Law Enforcement and is assigned to Lake County. He was assisted by Highland Police Sgt. Randy Stewart, Officer Tyler Dills, and Officer Tiffany Perez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
