Bloomington North Boys Basketball to Play in Forum Credit Union Tip Off Classic

Bloomington North Boys Basketball will play Franklin Central at Forum Credit Union Tip Off Classic at 2 PM in Southport HS Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday December 12th. The Cougars will be a part of 12 team event for the first time which is considered the best one-day event for High School Basketball in the State of Indiana. Franklin Central is coached by Bloomington native Criss Beyers who was a longtime assistant at Bloomington South. Host Southport will play Heritage Christian at 12:30 PM. Barr-Reeve will play Central Noble at 3:30 PM in one of the best small school matchups Connor Essegian for Central Noble just announced his to Wisconsin Wednesday Night. Crisups Attucks will play Zionsville at 5 PM. Cathedral will play Gary West Side at 6:45 PM with North Carolina Commit Jalen Washington 6-11 playing for Gary West Side. The Final Game of the Night at 8:45 PM will feature Westfield and Homestead with a pair of future Purdue Teammates Braden Smith and Fletcher Loyer facing off.  

Indiana Volleyball Opens Home Season with Indiana Invitational

Indiana Volleyball will open the 2021 home season with Alabama A&M in the first match of the Indiana Invitational tonight at 7 PM inside Wilkinson Hall. Alabama A&M comes in 0-7 on the season and the Hoosiers have won the previous two meetings in 2009 and 2010. The Hoosiers will face 6-3 Chicago State at 10 am tomorrow morning as the Hoosiers have beaten the Cougars in 1976 and 2006. The Hoosiers will end the tournament tomorrow night at 7 PM with Ole Miss who is 8-0 coming to the weekend and the Hoosiers beat the Rebels in 1996. Indiana is coming off an 0-3 weekend at the Georgia Tech Tournament where they lost to Oklahoma, Mississippi State and Georgia Tech. All three games for the Hoosiers will be on Big Ten Network Plus.

Indiana Wrestling Announces 2021-22 Schedule

Indiana Wrestling announced the 2021-22 schedule. The Hoosiers will have a full schedule for this season after a conference only schedule in 2020-21. The Hoosiers will open on the road with at Bellarmine along with Southern Illinois-Edwardsville in Louisville on November 6th. The Hoosiers will open at home against Duke on November 20th. The Hoosiers will host six home meets in Wilkinson Hall. The Big Ten Championships will be March 5-6 in Lincoln Nebraska. The NCAA Championships will be March 17-19th in Detroit Michigan.

Indianapolis Indians Fall to St. Paul 3-2  

The Indianapolis Indians lost to the St Paul Saints 3-2 Wednesday Afternoon at Victory Field in Indianapolis. After being tied 1-1 after 2 innings. The Saints scored 1 in the top of the third and 1 in the top of the fourth Inning. The Indians scored one in the bottom of the ninth but the rally came up short.  St Paul is now 60-56 and have taken the first two games of this series. Indianapolis is 54-61 on the season and the same two teams will meet tonight at 7:05 PM at Victory Field.
