Indiana Volleyball Falls at Ohio State

Indiana Volleyball Lost to Ohio State 3-0 on the Big Ten Network in Columbus Ohio Wednesday Night. The Buckeyes 8th ranked won 25-10, 27-25 and 25-20. Breanna Edwards had 12 kills, Kari Zumach had 7 kills and 1 block, Kaley Rammelsburg had 7 Kills and 4 Blocks and Morgan Geddes had 5 kills and 1 block for the Hoosiers. Ohio State is 11-2 and 1-2 in the Big Ten. Indiana is 7-8 and 1-2 in the Big Ten and will host Penn State Saturday at 6 PM. The Game was moved up an hour due to Indiana-Penn State Football Game starting at 7:30 PM.  

Indiana Quarterback Jack Tuttle Named William V Campbell Semifinalist

Indiana Redshirt Junior Quarterback Jack Tuttle has been named a William V Campbell Semifinalist. Celebrating its 32nd year the Campbell Trophy recognizes an individual as the absolute best football scholar-athlete in the nation for combined athletic success, football performance and leadership. Tuttle graduated with a supply chain management degree in May 2021 and he is currently working on his MBA in management. The San Marcos California native was a 2020 Academic All-Big Ten Selection and earned the teams LEO award. They will announce the 12-14 semifinalists October 27th the winner will be announced December 7th in Las Vegas.

Bloomington North Beats Martinsville in Boys Tennis Sectional Opener

Bloomington North Beats Martinsville 5-0 In the Bloomington North Boys Tennis Sectional Opener Wednesday Night.  The Cougars are 9-3 and collect four 6-0, 6-0 wins. Seth Force gets by his foe 6-4 7-5 at number 2 singles. Bloomington North will face Edgewood while Bloomington South Faces Bedford North Lawrence in the semifinals tonight which both start at 5 PM   

Bloomington South 3rd Bloomington North 11th in Class 5A Football Poll

Bloomington South remains 3rd and Bloomington North dropped back to 11th despite hanging 69 points on New Albany last Friday Night in this week’s IFCA coaches Poll. Cathedral is number 1 followed by Valparaiso at number 2. Decatur Central, Fort Wayne Snider, Fort Wayne Dwenger, West Lafayette Harrison, Concord, Castle, Zionsville round out the top 10. Mishawka and Kokomo are behind Bloomington North. Bloomington South is at Columbus North Friday while Bloomington North Host the top ranked team Class 4A Indianapolis Roncalli Friday night.
