Indiana Women’s Soccer Gets Overtime Win vs Rutgers
Indiana Women’s Soccer beat Rutgers 1-0 in Overtime Thursday Afternoon at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Melanie Forbes scored the goal at the 94:08 mark to give the Hoosiers there first win of the season. Anna Bennett got the assist. Both Teams had 5 shots and 3 Saves. Indiana had more corner kicks 5-3 and Rutgers had more fouls 12-9. Both Teams are 1-1 on the season. Indiana will host Iowa this Sunday at 1 PM.
Ben Veatch Wins Individual Indoor Track and Field Championship
Indiana Senior Ben Veatch Wins the Individual Indoor Big Ten Track and Field Championship in the 3,000 Meters with a time of 8:04:05 in Geneva Ohio. Veatch won the event in 2019. The Indiana Men are in 4th place with 20 Points as Iowa leads with 30 Points. The Indiana Women are in 4th place with 20 points as Iowa leads with 30 points. The Meet runs through Saturday.
Indiana Water Polo Announces Schedule Changes
Indiana Water Polo has announced 4 additional games and one series moved to later in the season. The Hoosiers series with UCLA that was scheduled for this weekend has been moved to April 12th-13th in Bloomington. The Hoosiers will Host Salem This Saturday at 11 AM and 2:30 PM. The Hoosiers will play Michigan March 13-14th in Bloomington at 11 am Both Days. The Hoosiers and Wolverines were to play 2 Games February 14th but that was canceled due to COVID concerns within the Wolverines Program.
