Indiana Women’s Basketball Falls to Michigan State in Quarterfinals of Big Ten Women’s Tournament

The 9th Ranked and Number 2 seed Indiana Women’s Basketball Team 69-61 in the Quarterfinals of the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament Last Night to 7th Seed Michigan State 69-61. The Hoosiers led 34-26 at halftime but the Spartans outscored the Hoosiers 43-27 in the 2nd half. Nia Coluden led the Spartans with 30 Points Alyza Winston added 13. The Spartans 15-7 advance to today’s semifinal at 4:30 PM Against 6 seed Iowa who beat 3 seed Rutgers 73-62. Indiana was led by Grace Berger with 19 Points Mackenzie Holmes with a double-double 17 points and 10 rebounds and Ali Patberg with 12 Points. Indiana is 18-5 and will now wait to find what seed they and who they are playing when the NCAA Tournament Field of 64 is announced at 7 PM on ESPN. The entire Tournament will be played in San Antonio Texas with some first-round games being played in San Marcos and Austin Texas. In the Quarterfinals Top Seed Maryland beat 8 Seed Nebraska 83-73 and will face 5 seed Northwestern at 2pm this afternoon who beat 4th seed Michigan 65-49.   

Rutgers Beats Indiana Men’s Basketball in Big Ten Tournament First Round

10th Indiana Men’s Basketball ended its season Last Night 60-51 loss to 7th Seed Rutgers in the Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The Hoosiers end the year at 12-15. Trayce Jackson Davis was the only Hoosier in double figures with 19 points and 9 rebounds. The Hoosiers led most of the first half before Rutgers went into the locker room leading 33-32. The Scarlet Knights outscored the Hoosiers 28-18. Rutgers has won all three meetings with the Hoosiers. Rutgers is 15-10 and will play 2 Seed Illinois in the quarterfinals tonight at 6:30 PM

Indiana Men’s Soccer Beats Wisconsin 4-0

The 23rd Ranked Indiana Men’s Soccer Team beat Wisconsin 4-0 Yesterday Afternoon in Madison for the 2nd time this season. The Hoosiers beat Wisconsin to open the season 3-0 on February 19th at Grand Park in Westfield.  The Hoosiers scored 2 goals from Brett Bebej at 25:47 and 54:44 Marks, Herbert Endeley scored at the 46:54 Mark and Joey Maher capped it off at the 81:04 Mark. Spencer Glass had 2 Assists, Victor Bazerra , AJ Palazzolo and Joe Schmidt had the assists. The Hoosiers are 3-1 on the year and will Host Michigan State Monday Afternoon at 2 PM on the Big Ten Network.

Indiana Softball Drops Doubleheader to Northwestern

Indiana Softball lost to a doubleheader 8-0 and 8-1 in Leesburg Florida. Desiree Dufek scored in the bottom of the 4th inning in Game 2 on an unearned run as Brooke Benson grounded out to 2nd and Annika Baez moved to 2nd base.  The Hoosiers are 4-4 on the season and will play the Wildcats in the final game of the series at 1:30 PM this afternoon
