Indiana Men’s Golf Finishes 7th at General Hackler Championship

Indiana Men’s Golf Finished 7th place at the General Hackler Championship in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Freshman Clay Merchent finished tied for 8th place for his third top 10 finish in in his last 3 events with a score of 215 for 1 under par. The Hoosiers finished with a team score of 876 for 12 over par. NC State won the Event with 852 Score for 12 under par. Nick Gabrelick of North Florida won the title with score 205 for 11 under par.  The Hoosiers return April 3-4th as they host the Hoosier Invitational at New Pfau Course.

Indiana Women’s Golf Finishes 18th at Briar’s Creek Invitational   

Indiana Women’s Golf Finished 18th at Briar’s Creek Invitational in Johns Island South Carolina. The Hoosiers with a team score of 945 for 81 over Par. College of Charleston won the event with a score 873 for 9 over par.  Viktoria Hund of the College of Charleston won the individual title with score of 210. The Hoosiers will return to South Carolina March 26-28th to compete in Clemson Invitational in Sunset South Carolina.

Indiana-Michigan State Women’s Soccer Game Postponed

Today’s Women’s Soccer Game between Indiana-Michigan State scheduled for 1 PM today has been postponed due to COVID-19 Issues within the Spartans Program. The Match has been rescheduled for Wednesday March 31st at Bill Armstrong Stadium at 12 PM.  The Hoosiers will Host Wisconsin this Sunday at 1 PM on Big Ten Network Plus.  

Indiana Baseball Pitcher McCade Brown Earns National and Big Ten Honors

Indiana Baseball Right Hand Pitcher McCade Brown was named the D1 Baseball/Astro Turf Player of the Week, The Perfect Game /Rawlings Pitcher of The Week, Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week and the Big Ten Pitcher of The Week. In Saturday’s 8-0 win over Penn State, Brown was dominant over the Hoosiers. The Sophomore hurler matched the Indiana school record with career high 16 strikeouts in seven no hit innings. He Broke the School Record for most IU Strikeouts in a Big Ten Game eclipsing the previous record of 13. Brown’s 16 strikeouts were the most since Brad Edwards set the Indiana School record with 16 against Quinnipiac on March 17th, 2000.
