Indiana Fever Select Six Players in 2021 WNBA Draft

Indiana Fever Had 6 picks overall in the 2021 WNBA Draft Thursday Night. WNBA Commisoner Cathy Engelbert Made the Picks from New York City with Prospects watching from there homes across the globe on ESPN. The Indiana Fever used the 4th overall pick on Kysre Gonderezick 5–9-point guard from West Virginia. Unique Thompson 6-3 Power Forward from Auburn went 17th overall in the 2nd round. The Fever took Arizona Small Forward Trinity Baptiste with the 24th overall pick to end the second round. Chelsey Perry from Tennessee-Martin was Selected 26th overall in the 3rd round, The Fever took Florencia Chagas a point guard from Argentina with the 31st pick and selected Maya Caldwell 5-11 shooting guard from Georgia 33rd overall. The Dallas Wings selected Charli Collier 6-5 Center from the University of Texas First Overall.  

Indiana Field Hockey Gets First Win of The Season

Indiana Field Hockey beat Michigan State 3-2 in overtime Thursday Afternoon in East Lansing for the Hoosiers First Win Of the Season. Michigan State took a 2-0 lead before Indiana scored at the 19:08 Mark with goal by Mary Kate Kesler, 28:52 Mark by Anna Gwiazdzinski and the game winner seconds into overtime with Peyton Becker at 60:43 Mark. Both Indiana and Michigan State are 1-12 on the Season. Indiana Plays at Michigan Saturday at 11 am on Big Ten Network Plus.  

Keyanna Warthen To Play at SMU

Former Indiana Women’s Basketball Player Keyanna Warthen will play her final year at SMU. Warthen was granted an extra year by the NCAA due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. In 4 years at Indiana Warthen played in 122 games and started 1. Warthen scored 212 points for 1.9 average, 102 Rebounds, 57 assists, 35 steals and 11 blocks. She is the all time winngest player in IU Women’s Basketball History with 89 wins. The Mustangs were 0-6 in 2020-21 season before the canceled the rest of there season due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

USAC Sprints Visit Bloomington Speedway Tonight  The Larry Rice Classic involving the USAC Sprint Cars will be at the Bloomington Speedway this evening. Hot Laps start at 6:30 PM with Racing underway at 7:30 PM. Pits open at 4:00 and Gates at 5:00 PM. The 410-Non-Winged Sprints and IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars will be on the racing menu this evening.
