Indiana-Minnesota Baseball Series Schedule Changes

With Inclement weather expected for this Saturday. Indiana and Minnesota Baseball teams will play a doubleheader starting at 1 pm tomorrow and Game 2 will be at 4 PM. The Teams will play two nine inning games on Friday and the series finale will be Sunday at 11 AM. Indiana is 15-8 and Minnesota is 4-20. The Two Teams have played twice this season at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis with the Hoosiers taking both 5-2 on March 5th and 8-1 on March 7th.

Bloomington South Grad to Play for Indiana Football as Preferred Walk on

Bloomington South Grad James Bomba who announced his transfer from Miami Ohio in December announced he is coming back to Bloomington to join the Indiana Football Team as Preferred walk on in May. Bomba is 6-6 230-pound tight end who graduated in 2020 from Bloomington South HS. Bomba entered the Transfer Portal in December after being suspended by Miami Ohio in the fall after he was involved in an off-campus incident at a fraternity house. Bomba was initially charged with assult and trespass, both misdemeanors. The Assault charge was dismissed while Bomba pled no contest to trespass he was given a 30-day suspended sentence, granted on the condition of good behavior. His Dad Matt and Grandfathers Dr Brad Bomba and Bob Van Pelt all played football for the Hoosiers.  

2021 NFL Schedule To Be Announced May 12th

The National Football League Announced the 2021 Regular Season Schedule will be announced on Wednesday May 12th at 8 PM Eastern Time on NFL Network. There will be 18 weeks in the regular season with each team getting one bye week playing 17 regular season games for the first time ever. There will be three preseason games instead of four. The Super Bowl will be held a week later than usual on February 13th. The Indianapolis Colts will play the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Home. They will Travel to the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway to Allow 40 % Capacity for Indianapolis 500

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced Wednesday that 40 Percent capacity will be allowed for this year’s Indianapolis 500 on May 30th. 135,000 can attend the race which would be the largest sporting event since the COVID-19 Pandemic started last March. The Speedway is the largest sporting facility in the world, with more than 250,000 grandstand seats and the ability to host close to 400,000 on race day throughout the entire property. Face Coverings will be required on track property and temperature checks will be given at track entrances.
