Indiana Cutters Open Preseason in Cincinnati

The Indiana Cutters Semi Pro Football Team will open the 2021 season tomorrow night in Cincinnati against the Cincinnati Dukes from the Blue-Collar Football League. The Game kicks off at 8 PM and will be played at the Wyoming Rec Center Turf Field “We are Excited to see how we stack up against another team” Head Coach Eric Anderson Said. The Cutters are in the Battle Ground Football League for the 4th season and are looking forward to a second preseason game against the Lake County Warriors May 22nd in Indianapolis and eight game regular season schedule that kicks off in June but the focus is on traveling to start the season against the Dukes. “Traveling to Cincinnati in April will definitely be a test but our guys have been working since last season to be ready. Will find out how far we’ve come” Anderson Said. The Cutters lost in the semifinals of the BGFL Playoffs to the Indiana Tornados and are looking to start fresh this season “We Want to get the taste of that game out our mouth and no better way to way to focus on our prep for 2021” Anderson Said. Head Coach Eric Anderson is back for his 7th season overall and coached the team in 2013 and 2014 winning the title in 2013 and returned in 2017. The Cutters are one of the longest standing Semi Pro Football Organizations around starting in 2007. The Cutters have won Three Championships in 2008, 2009 and 2013 and were runner up in 2011.  The Cutters return several Key Players on Both Sides of the ball and have several rookies that will contribute. “It’s been fun watching this team form. It will be great to get the young guys some experience alongside some of our core players as we build chemistry”.

Indiana Men’s Tennis Opens with Wisconsin in Big Ten Tournament

TheIndiana Men’s Tennis Team will open up the Big Ten Tournament against Wisconsin on April 29th at the Big Ten Men’s Tennis Tournament in Lincoln Nebraska. The Hoosiers are the 4 Seed in the East Division and the Badgers the 5 Seed in the West and will play 3 PM. The winner of that match will face Number 1 West Division Seed Illinois on April 30th at 3 PM. Other Matchups on April 29th will seed Number 4 Seed Iowa from The West Division taking on Number 5 Seed Michigan State from the East Division at 11 am with the winner taking on Number 1 Seed East Division Ohio State at 11 am on April 30th. Penn State 3 Seed in the East Division will face 6 Seed in the West Division and host Nebraska at 11 am with the winner talking on West Number 2 Seed Northwestern at 11 am on April 30th.  Michigan the Number 2 Seed in the East Division and Minnesota the Number 3 Seed in West Division will play a quarterfinal matchup on April 30th at 3 PM. The Semifinals will be played May 1st at 11 am and 3 PM and the Championship Match is set for May 2nd at 12 PM.

Indiana Women’s Tennis Opens with Minnesota in Big Ten Tournament  

The 14th Seeded Indiana Women’s Tennis Team will open the Big Ten Women’s Tennis Tournament against 11th seed Minnesota on April 28th at 11 AM in Madison Wisconsin. Number 13 Seed Maryland and Number 12 Rutgers will play at 3 PM on Day 1. On April 29th 10 seed Purdue and 7 seed Illinois will play at 10 am. 6 Seed Penn State will play the Indiana/Minnesota winner at 1 PM. 9 seed Michigan State and 8 seed Wisconsin will play at 4 PM and 5 Seed Nebraska will play the Maryland/Rutgers winner at 7 PM. 2 seed Michigan, 4 Seed Northwestern, Top Seed Ohio State and 4 Seed Iowa all got double byes and will play on April 30th. The Semifinals are May 1st at 11 am and 3 PM and the Championship is May 2nd at 3 PM.    

Indiana Late Models Series Visit Bloomington Speedway

The Indiana Late Models Series Visits the Bloomington Speedway this evening. UMP Modifies, 410 No-Winged Sprints, Super Stocks and Bombers will all be on the racing schedule.
