IU and Colorado State Football to Meet in 2026

Indiana and Colorado State will meet for the first time on the football field after the school agreed to a game scheduled for September 5th, 2026. IU announced earlier that they will travel to Connecticut on September 26th, 2026 which gives the Hoosiers two non-conference opponents for the 2026 season. Colorado State is located in Fort Collins Colorado and is a member of the Mountain West Conference.

Indiana Baseball Player Cole Barr Named Big Ten Player of the Week

Indiana Baseball Player Cole Barr was Named the Big Ten Player of the Week. The Yorktown Indiana Native was 6 for 10 with a triple, two home runs, five RBI and six runs scored to help the Hoosiers take two of three over the Hawkeyes this past weekend. On the season Barr leads the team with a .340 batting average, six homers, 22 RBI and 30 runs scored. The Hoosiers are on the road at Rutgers for 2 games and will also play 2 games against Nebraska in New Jersey.

Indiana Men’s Soccer Player Victor Bezerra Named MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist

Indiana Sophomore Victor Bezerra has been named one of fifteen semifinalists for the 2020-21 MAC Hermann Trophy award presented to the nation’s top college soccer player. The Sophomore from Chicago has had a great season with 12 goals in 12 games and 11 starts. Bezerra has 3 assists for a team high 27 points.  Indiana will play Marquette this Thursday in the 3rd round of the NCAA Soccer Tournament at Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary North Carolina. 

Anitra House Returns to IU Men’s Basketball Program  

Anitra House has been named as an Assistant to the Head Coach Mike Woodson of the Indiana Men’s Basketball Program.  House and Woodson go back to 1976 when Woodson first arrived on campus. House tutored Woodson and he became the first person in the family to earn a college degree. House started working 1974 part time became full time in 1979 in the academic services office and retired in 2014 from her position Director of Eligibility Systems. She is a Graduate of Sliver Creek HS in Sellersburg Indiana and has her Bachelors in secondary education/social studies and a Masters degree in reading.
