Indiana Baseball Snaps Five Game Losing Streak Beats Ohio State 2-0

Indiana Baseball beat Ohio State 2-0 Monday night at Bart Kaufman Field to snap a five-game losing streak. The Hoosiers are 25-16 and have a three-game series at Maryland this coming weekend. The Hoosiers are on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament. The 64 Team tournament field will be announced next Monday at Noon on ESPN. The Hoosiers finish 14-6 at home this season. Cole Barr reached on a fielder’s choice to 2nd that scored Jeremy Houston in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Hoosiers added the 2nd run in the bottom of the eighth inning with Paul Troetz single up the right side that brought Drew Ashley home. Ohio State is 20-19 on the season and they will host Northwestern this Weekend in the final regular season series.   

Indiana Football Lands Transfer Camron Buckley From Texas A&M

Indiana Football has landed Texas A&M Transfer Camron Buckley. Buckley will be a graduate transfer after he graduated in December with a degree in University Studies. He Missed the 2020 season due to a knee Injury. In 3 Years with the Aggies, he caught 62 passes for 877 yards and 4 touchdowns in 39 games and started 4 in his career. Buckley will have 2 years with the Hoosiers. He is a Native of Cedar Hill Texas and played at Cedar Hill High School. He Plans to wear Number 1 which was worn by Whop Philyor before he entered the NFL Draft.

Indiana Football 2023 Prospect Denzel Moore De-Commits

Denzel Moore 6-2 230 pound Outside Linebacker from Collins Hill HS in Suwanee Georgia has decommitted from Indiana University football and will re-open his recruitment. Moore committed on March 24th, 2021 and has offers from 24 schools. Moore cannot sign a national letter of intent until his senior season which is the 2022-23 school year. The Hoosiers still have one commitment in the 2023 class from Deah McCullough will play at Bloomington South after spending his first two years at Blue Valley North in Kansas.    

Former Indiana Men’s Basketball Player Jerome Hunter will Transfer to Xavier

Former Indiana Men’s Basketball Player Jerome Hunter has announced he will return to his home state to play at Xavier.  Hunter stayed after former head coach Archie Miller was fired in March. New Coach Mike Woodson announced May 13th that Hunter would not return to the program and his scholarship was filled by 7-0 Michael Durr a transfer from South Florida.  Hunter is the fourth player to leave IU and the last to find a home. Al Durham Jr is going to Providence, Armaan Franklin is going to Virginia and Joey Brunk is going to Ohio State. Indiana has all 13 scholarships filled for next season.
