Indiana-Western Kentucky Football Game to Be Broadcast on CBS Sports Network

The Indiana at Western Kentucky Football Game will kickoff at 8 PM Saturday September 24th and be televised on CBS Sports Network. IU leads the series 3-0 and will be making its first trip to Bowling Green Kentucky since 2010. The Hoosiers beat the Hilltoppers in Bloomington and 2008 and 2015. The is first game of the 2021 football season to have a game time announced.

Jetblach wins the Men’s Little 500 Bike Race

Jetblach took home the Men’s Little 500 title at Bill Armstrong Stadium on the IU Campus Wednesday Afternoon.  It’s the 1st title for this team as they held off the Cutters who are defending two-time champs. The Cutters are the most famous team as made the 1979 Movie Breaking Away famous basing it on Bloomington locals or those who are not apart of Greek Houses. The Cutters have won 14 overall titles. Sigma Phi Epsilon was 3rd followed by Chi Alpha and Phi Kappa Psi round out the top 5 out of 23 teams that competed in this year’s race. This was the first time in over 2 years that Little 500 was held after being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and no fans were in attendance

Delta Gamma Wins Women’s Little 500 Race

Delta Gamma dominated the Women’s Little 500 Wednesday Afternoon at Bill Armstrong Stadium.  Delta Gamma won with a lap lead for its 4th ever title winning in 2008, 2012 and 2013. Alpha Pi Delta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Melanzana Cycling and SKI rounded out the top five. Defending Champions Teter were 11th out of 17 teams that competed in the race. This was the first time in over 2 years that Little 500 was held after being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and no fans were in attendance.

Northview beats Edgewood for Class 3A Sectional Softball Championship

Northview on the Class 3A Sectional Softball Championship with a 7-0 win over host Edgewood Wednesday Night. Lauren Sackett who is committed to Indiana State had 16 strikeouts and gave up 2 hits for the Knights. Trinity Robertson took the loss for Edgewood who had 2 hits and finish the season 22-6. Northview is 23-5 and has won its fourth sectional title. The Knights won in 1994,1995 and 2019. They will Advance to Regional Next Tuesday Night against the winner of the Indianapolis Cathedral Sectional.
