The Edgewood Mustangs beat the Owen Valley Patriots 31-12 Friday Night at the Mustang Corral in Ellettsville for the third year in a row. Scott Fischer is 3-1 against Owen Valley and outscored the Patriots 105-20 the last three years.
Edgewood is 2-2 on the season as the Mustangs are averaging 16.5 points on offense and giving 24.5 points on defense. Edgewood has outscored their opponents 60-20 in their two home games and will host 0-4 West Vigo on Friday Night at 7 PM.
Owen Valley is 2-2 on the season and has lost the last two games by a combined score 65-25 and will host 4-0 Northview on Friday Night at 7 PM. Edgewood and Owen Valley are tied 16-16 and the Mustangs lead the series the last 40 years 23-18.
Bloomington North is rolling after a 37-18 road win over the Mooresville Pioneers. The Cougars are 3-1 on under first year Head Coach and Alum Andy Harding. Since a week 1 44-6 loss to City Rival Bloomington South. The Cougars have won three straight and have outscored the opposition 124-78 and will host 3-1 Plainfield on Friday Night at 7 PM.
Mooresville is 2-2 on the season have been outscored 64-32 in the last two games after winning the first two games of the season by a combined score of 66-33. Mooresville will travel to 3-1 Decatur Central this Friday at 7 PM. Mooresville leads the series Bloomington North 9-6 in the last 40 years.
Bloomington South beat Muncie Central 48-21 at Fred Huff Memorial Field on the Southside of Bloomington as the top ranked Panthers are 4-0 and will travel to 1-3 Greenfield Central on Friday Night. The Panthers have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 214-41 as the Panthers are averaging 53.5 points on offense and 10.3 points on defense.
Muncie Central made the two hour trip for the first meeting with Bloomington South and returned home with a 2-2 record. The Bearcats are averaging 25 points on offense and giving up 26.3 points on Defense. Muncie Central will host 0-4 Marion Friday Night at 7 PM.
