Kick time and TV set for Indiana University Football’s game vs. USC We have an official kickoff time for Indiana’s return to the field on Nov. 14 against USC. As is the case each season, the Big Ten is rolling out kick times and television designations a couple weeks ahead of each game. Indiana’s week ten game at home against USC will kick at 3:30 p.m. ET and air to a national audience on CBS.  This marks the second straight game IU will be in this time slot on CBS. Indiana has never defeated USC.  The Trojans entered 2026 with high hopes but looked a bit vulnerable through the first eight games.  But a win over Ohio State this weekend has things looking up in Los Angeles.  Coming off a bye like Indiana, the Trojans (7-2, 4-2) will arrive in Bloomington with renewed hope to reach the College Football Playoff. In addition to the win over Ohio State, USC claims Power 4 wins over Rutgers, Penn State and Washington.  They’ve lost to Oregon and Wisconsin.

Indiana University’s Paddy McAteer Tabbed Big Ten Co-Specialist of the Week After a program-record 60-yard field goal make against Minnesota, fifth-year kicker Paddy McAteer was tabbed Big Ten Co-Special Teams Player of the Week. The Big Ten Conference office announced McAteer and Minnesota kicker Luke Drzewiecki as co-players of the week on Monday after connecting on the first 60-plus yard field goals in the Big Ten since 2019. Along with Drzewiecki, the duo marked the first time in college football or the NFL that both teams connected on 60-yard or longer field goals with under 30 seconds left in regulation. It was also the longest field goals made in the Big Ten since Wisconsin’s Zach Hintze in 2019.

His 60-yard field goal set the program record and tied the game at 16-16 with two seconds left in regulation. Indiana ultimately won the game, 23-16, with an overtime touchdown. The field goal broke the previous mark of 58 yards by Brendan Franke (at Oregon, 2025) and Griffin Oakes (Maryland, 2014) and tied for No. 6 in Big Ten history. He also logged touchbacks on all four kickoffs. McAteer is the first Indiana specialist to earn Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week since Charles Campbell in 2022. He is the 11th place kicker at IU to earn a Big Ten weekly award.

Indianapolis Colts bench Daniel Jones after 2 INTs in 42-7 blowout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars Trevor Lawrence threw three touchdown passes, including one to recently benched receiver Brian Thomas Jr., and the Jacksonville Jaguars dominated the Indianapolis Colts 42-7 in the rain Sunday to extend their home winning streak in the series to 12. Lawrence also connected with Bhayshul Tuten on a screen in the third quarter and found rookie Nate Boerkircher on a 31-yarder in an opening half filled with big plays for the Jaguars (5-2). Tuten added a 39-yard scoring scamper in which he broke three tackles, and Rayuan Lane returned an interception 92 yards for a touchdown with 10 seconds to play in the second quarter. Jacksonville’s 28-0 lead was the third-largest advantage at halftime in franchise history. It came five days after the Colts (2-6) traded two of their best players, defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and longtime guard Quenton Nelson, to kick-start a rebuilding effort. Indianapolis also fired general manager Chris Ballard last month and is reportedly willing to part with star running back Jonathan Taylor.

Taylor was bottled up most of the day against Jacksonville, finishing with 23 yards on eight carries and getting saddled with a fumble on a botched trick play. He is the last player to top 100 yards rushing in a game against the Jaguars, accomplishing the feat in the 2024 regular-season finale. Jacksonville’s run defense could get tested moving forward, though, because 335-pound nose DaVon Hamilton sustained what looked like a significant right knee injury in the second quarter. Players rushed to his side, and a team trainer quickly called for a cart to take him to the locker room. He was ruled out minutes later. Indianapolis last won at EverBank Stadium in 2014. The 12-game skid includes a trip to London in 2016. Even during some of the Jaguars’ worst years — a one-win campaign in 2020 and a pair of three-win seasons — they managed to beat the Colts at home.

This one was never in doubt. Coming off a bye and wearing the franchise’s new “Bold City” rivalry uniforms, Lawrence completed 10 of 14 passes for 210 yards and the Jaguars won their seventh consecutive regular-season game at home. They have outscored opponents 271-75 in those games Indianapolis has dropped four in a row and 13 of 15 dating to last season. Daniel Jones completed 19 of 28 passes for 144 yards, with a touchdown to Josh Downs and two interceptions. He was benched in the fourth quarter and replaced by Anthony Richardson. The Colts played without nickel cornerback Justin Walley. The Jaguars had three starters besides Hamilton injured in the game: safety Eric Murray (left elbow), defensive end Travon Walker (right-side ribs) and right guard Ezra Cleveland (right ankle). Backup linebacker Branson Combs (left arm) also left the game in the fourth. The Colts host Dallas next Sunday and the Jaguars play at Baltimore on Thursday night.

Injury-riddled Indiana Pacers no match for winless Brooklyn Nets in 98-90 loss Michael Porter Jr. scored 23 points, and Julius Randle had 20 points to lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 98-90 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night. Day’Ron Sharpe had a double-double with 15 points and a team-high 13 rebounds for the Nets, who won for the first time this season. The Nets held a 43-37 edge in rebounds. Andrew Nembhard led the Pacers with 23 points and Pascal Siakam had 17. The Nets led by 12 three different times in the third quarter, but the Pacers cut the deficit to 75-72 in the first three minutes of the fourth with back-to-back 3-pointers by Larry Nance Jr. and Nembhard. That’s as close as Indiana got the rest of the way.

The Nets shot 38% in the first half but still managed to lead the Pacers 43-40 at halftime. Indiana made just 32% from the field and were just 4 of 20 from 3-point range. Both teams got off to sluggish starts with the Nets taking a 12-10 lead on Randle’s 3-pointer with less than five minutes left in the first quarter. That erased the Pacers’ last lead at 10-9. Brooklyn pushed the lead to 71-62 after three quarters as both teams shot better in the second half. The short-handed Pacers were without Obi Toppin, who was out with a lower back injury for the second consecutive game. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said Toppin is progressing and could play Monday. Indiana is still without Ivica Zubac, who is out with a left ankle sprain. Tyrese Haliburton is expected to be out another 10 days or more with a hamstring strain. Nets rookie Mikel Brown Jr. sat out for load management to rest back with Brooklyn set to play the New York Knicks Monday night.
