Bloomington North Boys Basketball Postpones Next 4 Games
For the Second Time this season The Bloomington North Boys Basketball Team has been placed in quarantine due to a positive test within its program. The North Cougars were scheduled to Host Evansville North Tonight and Travel to Terre Haute South Tomorrow. The Cougars were scheduled to host Southport next Tuesday and Columbus East next Saturday but those games are postponed as well. North’s next scheduled game is February 4th when they Host Edgewood. The Cougars are 6-2 on the season and have had 7 games Postponed due to the COVID 19 Pandemic.
Colts Promote Marcus Brady to Offensive Coordinator
The Indianapolis Colts have promoted Marcus Brady to Offensive Coordinator. Brady has been the Colts Quarterbacks Coach the Last two seasons. Brady replaces Nick Sirianni who is leaving to become Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. Brady who is 41 years old has been with the Colts the last three seasons. in 2018 he was the assistant quarterbacks coach. The Colts Offense scored 451 points in the 2020 season third highest total in franchise history.
Norte Dame Football Placed on NCAA Probation
The NCAA Placed the Norte Dame Football Team on Probation for one year after the sides agreed that a former assistant coach had impermissible off campus recruiting contact with a high school player in January of 2019. Those Involved in the violations were former cornerbacks coach Todd Lyght and Linebacker Sav’ell Smalls of Garfield HS in Seattle WA. Lyght an All-America cornerback for Norte Dame in 1989 was fired in January of 2020.
