Indiana-Rutgers Women’s Basketball Game Postponed
Last Night’s Indiana-Rutgers Women’s Basketball Game at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall was postponed for a second time due to additional health and safety concerns within the Scarlet Knights Program. The two teams were originally scheduled to play January 18th but that was called of because of Covid-19 concerns within the Rutgers Program. The Scarlet Knights have not played since a January 3rd loss at Nebraska 53-50. This marks the 8th straight game Rutgers has postponed they are scheduled to host Nebraska this Sunday. Indiana will be back in action this Sunday when they travel to Iowa 2 pm on ESPN2. 

Girls Sectional Basketball Action Resumes Tonight
The Girls Basketball Sectional Tournament are underway as the sectional semifinals are tonight.In Class 4A at East Central , 6-16 Bloomington North faces 12-5 Columbus North in Game 2 tonight. Columbus North beat Bloomington South 57-43 Tuesday Night ending the Panthers season 11-8. In Class 3A at Edgewood the Host Mustangs beat Northview 47-36 Wednesday Night. The Mustangs are 15-6 and will 17-6 Brownstown Central in Game 2 tonight.In Class 1A at Bloomfield, Lighthouse Christian lost to White River Valley 66-33 Wednesday Night. the Lions end the season at 4-17. Sectional Championship Games are tomorrow night.

2021 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament Moving To Indianapolis
The  2021 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis March 10-14th. It was scheduled to be held in Chicago this year but was moved to Indianapolis due to health and safety concerns in the windy city. The Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament will be held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse March 9th-13th.

Changes Announced For IHSAA Girls Basketball State Finals 
The IHSAA Announced Yesterday that this years Girls State Basketball Finals will be held Friday February 26th and Saturday February 27th at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Instead of all 4 Class State Championship Games being played on Saturday. One will be held Friday Night February 26th at 7 PM with the Other Three to be held on Saturday February 27th at 11 AM, 3:30PM and 7 PM. This gives more time to clear and clean the arena between games due to the Ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. The Game Assignments will be announced February 21st following the semi state round.
