Boys Basketball Sectional Draw Announced
All four Monroe County Boys Basketball Teams will be in Action Next Tuesday March 2nd when the Boys State Tournament gets underway with Sectional First Round action. In Class 4A at Bloomington South the Host Panthers will take on East Central at 6 PM Followed by Bloomington North vs Columbus North at 7:30 PM. Class 3A at Owen Valley Brown County will take on Edgewood at 7 PM. In Class 1A at Clay City Lighthouse Christian will take on White River Valley at 7 PM. The Semifinals are Friday March 5th and Sectional Championship Games are Saturday March 6th.
IU Women’s Basketball Ranked 11th in AP Poll
The Indiana Women’s Basketball Is Ranked 11th in this weeks Associated Press Poll. Its the highest ranking ever for the Hoosiers in the AP Poll. Indiana was Number 12th for three separate weeks in the 2019-20 season. This is the 34th consecutive week IU has been ranked in the Top 25. The Hoosiers are back in action tomorrow night at Wisconsin 7 PM on Big Ten Network Plus
Indiana Women’s Golf Competes at Palmetto Intercollegiate
Indiana Women’s Golf finished 11th out of 11 teams in the Palmetto Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island South Carolina. The Hoosiers Finished with 967 Team score thru three rounds. Senior Mary Parsons finished in 24th place with a score of 229. Wake Forest won the tournament with a score of 874 and Rachel Kuhen took home the Individual Title for the Demon Deacons with a score of 216 one stroke ahead of her teammate Lauren Walsh. The Hoosiers will compete in the Briar’s Creek Invitational in Johns Island South Carolina March 15th-16th
