Lady Hoosiers take on Arizona Wildcats in Elite 8 match-up
The Indiana University Lady Hoosiers defeated the #1 seeded Wolfpack of North Carolina State on Saturday night to earn their first ever advancement to the NCAA Championship Tournament round of 8. The game will be aired this evening at 9pm on ESPN.

INDOT hosts virtual job fair
The Indiana Department of Transportation will host an online, virtual career fair on Thursday, April 1 from noon to 1pm. INDOT is recruiting applicants for open full-time and seasonal positions in highway maintenance, fleet services, construction engineering, and construction project inspections. Recruiters from INDOT will be available to answer questions and provide information on the benefits of joining the State of Indiana team. INDOT offers $250 sign-on and $500 retention bonuses for eligible candidates. Click here to attend INDOT’s virtual career fair. Advance registration is not required. Summer seasonal positions run from April through October at a starting pay of $16 per hour. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license and commercial driver’s license (CDL). Indiana House Bill 255 involving expungements
The House Courts and Criminal Code Committee heard SB 255 sponsored by Rep. J. Young regarding expungements. The author, Sen. Freeman, introduced the bill which specifies that a “criminal history provider” includes certain persons who regularly publish criminal history information on the internet, for purposes of the law requiring criminal history providers to periodically review their criminal history records for expunged convictions. The Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council and the Indiana Public Defender Council testified in support of the bill. The bill passed 11-0.
