Indiana Women’s Basketball Sophomore Paige Price Selected To Australia’s U-19 Selection Camp

Indiana Women’s Basketball Sophomore Paige Price has been Selected to compete in the Basketball Australia 2021 FIBA Women’s Selection Camp. Basketball Australia has named 19 athletes in the Australian Under 19 squad for a 2021 FIBA Women’s Basketball Camp Selection Camp to be held at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra From June 25th-28th.  The 12 Member squad will compete in the Under-19 Championships in Hungary August 7th-15th in Hungary. Price who is from Dormana Victoria, Australia. Signed with the Hoosiers in November of 2020 before joining the team in December. She Appeared in 8 games where she scored her first bucket in the 2021 NCAA Tournament 2nd round game against Belmont.

Grace Berger Arrives in South Carolina For AmeriCup Training Camp

Indiana University Senior to be Grace Berger has arrived in Columbia South Carolina for the USA Basketball AmeriCup Training Camp. Berger is one of 13 finalists competing for a spot on the AmeriCup Team that will compete in San Juan Puerto Rico June 11th-19th. The Camp Started Tuesday and will run through June 8th.  Berger was one of 13 finalists named April 21st after four days of trials. South Carolina Head Coach Dawn Staley is the head coach, Jennifer Rizzotti and Adia Barnes are assistant coaches. 

Bloomington South Grad Kyle Hankins Named Boys Basketball Coach at Clarksville

Bloomington South Grad Kyle Hankins has been named the Boys Basketball Coach at Clarksville HS. Clarksville is just north of the Ohio River near Louisville Kentucky. Hankins was an assistant coach at East Central University a Division II school in Ada Oklahoma. Hankins played at Bloomington South from 1998-2001 scoring 1,222 points leading the Panthers to an 80-14 Record and was 2001 Indiana All Star. Hankins played at Morehead State from 2001-04 and was on the 2003 Ohio Valley Conference Regular Season Championship Team.  

Bloomington North Boys Basketball Duo of JaQualon Roberts and Nick Klaiber Been Invited to Top 100 Underclass Showcase

Bloomington North Boys Basketball Duo of JaQualon Roberts and Nick Klaiber have been invited to the 19th IBCA/IHSAA top 100 underclass showcase June 19th at Ben Davis HS. Division 1 coaches will be allowed to attend. The Showcase is not open to the Public, though two family members or friends per participant will be allowed to attend. The Cost is $ 5 per day. The first session will begin at 10:30 AM and run until 1:40 each day and the second session being at 2:30 and run until 5:40 PM. The Girls Showcase is June 18th at Ben Davis. Klaiber will be in the first session and Roberts the 2nd session.
