Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 30 year-old female victim who reported that just prior to calling 911, she had been walking southbound on Liberty Drive when she felt her backpack being pulled from behind. She advised officers that she turned around and an unknown man grabbed her backpack and began pulling her. She reported that she began struggling with the man which caused her backpack to fall off. Collectively, neighbors were able to free at least one of the household pets before the smoke became too thick. Firefighters then arrived to successfully extinguish the fire, without further incident.
