Antwaan Randle-El on the College Football Hall of Fame Ballot

Former Indiana University Quarterback Antwaan Randle-El is on the 2022 College Football of Fame Ballot. Randle-El played at IU from 1998-2002 and was one of the most exciting players at that time.  Randle-El was the 1998 Big Ten Freshman of Year and 3 time all-Big Ten. He became the first player in the NCAA History to score over 45 touchdowns and Throw for 42 and the first to record 2,500 total yards in four seasons. Randle-El was 13th in 2000 Heisman Trophy Balloting and 6th in 2001. Randle-El Played 10 years in the NFL with Pittsburgh and Washington and won the 2005 Super Bowl as member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Brad Stevens to be President of Basketball Operations for the Boston Celtics

Danny Ainge has stepped down as President of Basketball Operations for the Boston Celtics.  Head coach Brad Stevens will take over the role and resign as head coach. The 44-year-old Stevens is a Zionsville Indiana Native and led Butler to back-to-back National Championship Game appearances in 2010 and 2011. He has coached the Celtics from 2013-2021 and had a 354-282 record and 7 playoff appearances in 8 years. The Celtics lost in the first round to the Brooklyn Nets.

Indianapolis Colts Release 3 Game Preseason Schedule  

The Indianapolis Colts have released their 3 game NFL Preseason Game. The Colts will Host Carolina Panthers Sunday April 15th at 1 pm Lucas Oil Stadium. The Colts Travel to the Minnesota Vikings Saturday August 21st at 8 PM and wrap up the Preseason Friday August 27th at Detroit at 7 PM. All three Games will air on FOX-59 In Indianapolis.

Indy Eleven and OKC Energy Play to 1-1 Draw

The Indy Eleven and OKC Energy played to 1-1 draw at Michael Carroll Stadium on the IUPUI Campus Wednesday Night. The Eleven are 3-1-1 with 10 points on the season.  Indy will host Memphis 901FC This Saturday Night at 7 PM and the Game will be broadcast on WISH-TV Channel 8 In Indianapolis.
