IU Health to require vaccinations for all employees
Indiana University Health has announced that they will require all its doctors, nurses and other employees to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 by Sept. 1, 2021. The news comes just a few weeks after they had originally set a recommendation policy for the Covid shots. An IU Health statement referenced vaccines are an effective means to protect patients and help reduce the spread of coronavirus. Employees will be allowed to apply for a deferral or exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine based on medical or religious reasons, and those applications will be reviewed on an individual basis

Arrest made in Fort Wayne murder of three children and a woman
21-year-old Cohen Bennett Hancz-Barron has been arrested for the death of three children and a woman in Fort Wayne Wednesday morning. Fort Wayne Police took Hancz-Barron in custody after tips from the public helped locate the suspect in an apartment complex in Lafayette on Wednesday evening. Hancz-Barron was transported back to Fort Wayne, where he was booked on four counts of Murder.

Walmart hours to change
Starting June 5, Walmart stores will return to opening at 6am, except for Tuesday mornings when they will continue hosting its weekly senior hours for those vulnerable to Covid-19. Walmart pharmacies and vision centers will resume pre-Covid hours beginning July 3. Walmart has also dropped mask requirements for fully vaccinated customers and employees unless if a state law requires their usage.
