Indiana Cutters Dominate Joliet Buccaneers 32-0
The Indiana Cutters dominated the Joliet Buccaneers 32-0 at Danville HS Saturday Night. The Cutters scored 13 seconds into the game when Dex Grimble took the opening kickoff 77 yards to the house for this first touchdown of the season.  “He was due hopefully that breaks the ice for him”. Head Coach Eric Anderson Said.  Sidney Moore was 7-11 passing for 102 yards 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Moore found Marquis Feldman 26-yard touchdown pass with 3:06 left before halftime to make 12-0. After a scoreless 3rd quarter, the Cutters responded in the fourth quarter with 20 points. Moore found Torrell Williamson on a 17-yard pass with 8:34 left to make it 18-0. Dre Key recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown and the 2-point conversion good to make it 26-0 “Shoutout to the defense for stepping up” Anderson Said. Anthony Hicks capped off the scoring with a 1-yard touchdown run with 3:08 Left. The Cutters ran just 21 offensive plays all night and had four first downs and Coach Anderson credits the offensive line for all the blocking to set up those touchdowns. “Good blocking all night and the best thing is seeing the lineman set up the blocks for the receivers to break tackles and score” Anderson Said.  The Buccaneers had negative 26 yards of total offense. The Buccaneers ran the ball 31 times for negative 57 yards and were 5-7 passing for 33 yards and 4 first downs. It’s the 2nd time this season the Cutters have held a team to negative yards of total offense they did it in Week 1 against the Quad City Titans and the 2nd shutout this season. “You Cannot hold a team to negative yards without the whole team doing it” Anderson Said.  The Cutters are 3-2 on the season and Host the Indiana Tornados this Saturday Night at Danville HS 7 PM Kickoff. “A really really good football team and there going to come a play a really good football game and were going to try and get ready to do the same”. Anderson Said.

Indiana Football Gets Commitment from Bray Lync
Indiana Football got its 11th commitment for the 2022 class on Friday Night. Offensive Linmman Bray Lynch announced he will attend IU. Lynch is 6-5 280 pounds from Austin Texas and plays at Westlake HS. Lynch Chose IU over Oklahoma State, Duke, TCU, Nevada and Colorado State. Lynch played left tackle and was the blindside protector for a team that went 14-0 and won the 6A Texas High School State title this past season, which is the largest classification which in Texas. He becomes the 2nd commit from the state join the Hoosiers joining Quarterback Josh Hoover and the second offensive lineman joining Carter Smith from Ohio.

Maddix Blackwell Scores on Blocked Field Goal as South All Stars Win 45-7
Bloomington South Graduate and Incoming Indiana State Freshman Maddix Blackwell scored a touchdown in Friday’s Night Indiana North-South All Star Football Game at Anderson University. The South won the game 45-7. Blackwell scored on a 72-yard blocked field goal return in the 2nd quarter. The South Led 31-0 at halftime.  Micah Wilson from Covenant Christian HS in Indianapolis was named the MVP after rushing 6 times for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns along with 1 reception for 9 yards and a kickoff return for 27 yards.  

Indiana Cross County Announces 2021 Schedule
Indiana University Cross County has announced the 2021 Schedule. The Hoosiers will open the season Saturday September 4th at home. It will be the first home meet in over 2 seasons at the newly renovated Cross-Country Course as the Hoosiers will host a late season meet Friday November 5th with the Indiana Invitational. The Hoosiers will Travel to Norte Dame on October 1st and Madison Wisconsin October 15th. The Big Ten Championships will be at Penn State October 29th. The NCAA Regionals will be hosted by the University Of Evansville at the Angel Mounds State Historic Site and the NCAA Championships will be held November 20th in Tallahassee Florida.
