Indiana’s Attorney General steps in on legal matter involving Holcomb v. Bray
Indiana Attorney General has stayed extremely active since taking office this past January; this time, working to prevent the Governor from suing the State Legislature regarding a law which passed due to overriding Holcomb’s veto earlier this year. AG Rokita filed papers directly with the Indiana Supreme Court to request Holcomb v. Bray gets dismissed, as the Governor did not work through the Office of the Attorney General in filing his suit. Rokita believes that there is a power grab underway by Holcomb and that if the courts are allowed to rule on this matter, that authority would then by handed to the courts to interfere with political decisions. Rokita said, “The Attorney General’s Office was created to enable the state to speak with one voice on legal matters,”

Bloomington swears in 11 new Firefighters
City of Bloomington Fire Department welcomed 11 new firefighters at City Hall last Friday during a swearing-in ceremony. Mayor Hamilton and Fire Chief Jason Moore welcomed family, guests, and this year’s recruit class. The new firefighters were sworn in by City Clerk Nicole Bolden. Colts Coach tests positive for Covid-19
Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Frank Reich has tested positively for Coronavirus, and he stated that he is currently asymptomatic and in quarantine. The news comes even though the Coach says he was previously vaccinated for the Virus, so it may simply be a false positive test result. According to NFL protocol, Reich must provide to consecutive negative test results before returning to any public football activities.
