Indiana Lands Alabama Wide Receiver for 2021
Indiana University Football has landed Wide Receiver Malachi Bennett for its 2021 Recruiting Class. Bennett committed to the Hoosiers Yesterday. He is 6-2 180 Pounds from Fairfield Alabama and played Fairfield Preparatory School. He had originally committed to UAB but decommitted in November. The Chose the Hoosiers over 18 other teams Including several SEC Teams. The Hoosiers have 14 true Freshman Commits for the 2021 class.
Indiana Men’s Soccer Ranked 7th in Preseason Poll
Indiana Men’s Soccer is ranked 7th in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll. The Hoosiers are among three Big Ten Conference Team ranked in the top 25. Maryland is ranked 21st and Penn State is ranked 23rd. The Hoosiers won the Big Ten Regular Season and Tournament Titles in 2019 and made there 33rd straight NCAA Tournament Appearance and 44th overall. The Hoosiers will open the 2020-21 season Hosting Wisconsin February 19th.
IU Wrestler Donnell Washington Named Big Ten Wrestler Of the Week
Indiana University Sophomore Donnell Washington has been named the Big Ten Wrestler of the week. The Portage Indiana Native went 2-0 with wins against Northwestern and Penn State at 174 Pounds. He also has win over Illinois and is only loss is to Michigan giving him a 3-1 record on the season. He was 22-9 a season ago and the Hoosiers will Host Michigan State, Nebraska and Rutgers this Saturday in Wilkinson Hall.
Indiana Field Hockey Announces Schedule
Indiana Field Hockey will play all 14 Big Ten Regular Season Games away from Bloomington. The 2021 Spring Schedule was announced the Hoosiers will Open the season February 26th vs Rutgers and February 27th vs Iowa in Virginia Beach Virginia and the Regular Season Concludes April 17th at Michigan. The Big Ten Tournament will be in Iowa City Iowa April 20-24th.
