Indiana Women’s Basketball Wins Top 15 Matchup
14th ranked Indiana Women’s Basketball Beat 11th Ranked Michigan 75-70 in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The Hoosiers were led in scoring with Ali Patberg with 21 Points. Grace Berger scored all 16 of her points in the 2nd half and she went 10-10 from the Free Throw Line and Aleksa Glube added 13 points. Michigan was led in scoring by Junior Naz Hilmon with 23 Points and 12 Rebounds. Leigha Brown added 19 points for Michigan who fall 7-2 in the Big Ten and 12-2 Overall. Indiana is now 14-4 and 12-2 in the Big 10 and are on a 5 game winning streak. Indiana was to host Iowa This Sunday but that game has been moved to March 3rd to give flexibility in the Big Ten Conference Schedule.
Carson Wentz Traded to The Indianapolis Colts
The Philadelphia Eagles have traded Quarterback Carson Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for a 2021 3rd Round Pick and a conditional 2022 Second Round Pick that could become a first round pick depending on how much Wentz plays. Wemtz needs to play 75 % offensive snaps in 2021 season for the condtional 2022 pick to become a first rounder. The pick could also be a first rounder if Wentz plays 70% and Colts Reach the Playoffs. Wentz played 5 years for the Eagles he threw for 16,811 yards 113 touchdowns and 50 interceptions and was 2nd overall Pick in 2016 NFL Draft out of North Dakota State.
Indianapolis Indians Announce 2021 Schedule
The Indianapolis Indians have announced the 2021 Schedule. The Indians will play 142 regular season games and will have 70 home games at Victory Field. Every homestand home and road trip will be played against one opponent running Tuesday through Sundays with Mondays being a league wide off day. The Indians will play 8 different teams this season. They open on the Road April 6-11th at Memphis and then will be at Victory Field April 13-18th against Nashville.
