Indiana Falls to Wisconsin
The Indiana Men’s Basketball Team Lost a Heartbreaker to Wisconsin 80-73 in Double Overtime. Trayce Jackson Davis had 23 points and 12 Rebounds for his 4th Double-Double of the season and 16th of his career. Al Durham had 15 points. Jerome Hunter 12 points off the Bench and Rob Phinisee 10 points for the Hoosiers. Indiana is 7-5 overall and 2-3 in the Big 10. Wisconsin who was led in scoring by D’Mitrik Trice with 21 points improves their record to 10-2 overall and 4-1 in the Big 10. The Hoosiers will stay on the road Sunday to face Nebraska 6 PM on Big Ten Network
Indiana Women soundly defeat Penn State
The Lady Hoosiers took down Penn State 85-64 on the road last night. Grace Berger recorded her second career triple double (and second of the season) with 15 points 12 assists and 10 rebounds. She is the Only Player in Indiana Women’s Basketball History to accomplish that feat, the first occurred November 25, 2020 against Eastern Kentucky. Sophomore Forward Mackenize Holmes scored a career high 27 points while Ali Patberg added 24 Points. The Hoosiers shared the ball with 24 assists and only turned the ball over 2 times. Indiana is now 6-3 overall and 4-1 in the Big Ten. Next up, they will host Wisconsin this Sunday at 4 PM on Big Ten Network Plus.
Edgewood Boys Basketball Beats Brown County
The Edgewood Boys Basketball Team beat Brown County 70-37 in Ellettsville Last Night. The Mustangs are 7-4 overall and 4-1 in the Western Indiana Conference. Brown County is 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the Western Indiana Conference. Edgewood is Back in Action Saturday Night when they Host South Putnam at 7:30pm.
North/South Basketball Game Postponed
The Bloomington North-Bloomington South Boys Basketball Game that was scheduled for tonight at Bloomington South has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns. The Cougars game scheduled with Seymour Saturday night at home has also been Postponed. The North Cougars are 5-1 and are scheduled to host Martinsville January 15th. The South Panthers are 8-4 on the year and will now host Seymour Saturday night at 6:30pm.
